How to report a conversion problem
Please include the exact page address, the value you entered, the starting and destination units, the result shown, and the result you expected. If the disagreement depends on a particular standard, name it. For example, a US liquid gallon and an Imperial gallon are different units, and a troy ounce is not the same as the avoirdupois ounce used for everyday goods. That context makes it possible to check the correct definition instead of guessing which unit you meant.
Reports are checked against the formula shown on the page and, when appropriate, standards information from organizations such as NIST or the BIPM. A correction may require updating a calculator factor, a displayed table, or explanatory text. Sending a report does not guarantee that a requested unit or feature will be added, but specific, reproducible reports are much easier to evaluate.
